About Atomurus § 01 — project

Chemistry, open to everyone.

An interactive chemistry laboratory built for students, educators and the endlessly curious — completely open, no accounts required.

§ 01 What is Atomurus?

Atomurus is a free, browser-based chemistry laboratory. It brings together an interactive periodic table with all 118 elements, a Visualizador (Bohr, Rutherford, Quantum, Thomson and Dalton models), molecular visualizations and a growing set of chemistry calculators — all running directly in your browser, with no installation.

§ 02 Our mission

We believe great chemistry tools shouldn't sit behind paywalls, logins or app stores. Atomurus is built around three principles:

§ 03 What you'll find inside

§ 04 Why we built this

Atomurus started as a personal project to make chemistry feel less like memorization and more like exploration. Most online tables and atomic viewers are either visually outdated, locked behind subscriptions or scattered across separate tools. Atomurus brings them together under one consistent design system, with attention to typography, color and animation that respects the science.

§ 05 Open by default

You don't need an account to use any feature on Atomurus. Your preferences (theme, element size, language) are stored locally in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

§ 06 Built with

Atomurus is built with standard web technologies — HTML, CSS and JavaScript — using Three.js for 3D rendering and Chart.js for trend graphs. The site is statically hosted, so it loads fast anywhere in the world.

§ 07 Independence

Atomurus is an independent educational project. It is supported by non-intrusive advertising, which helps keep the site fully free and open for everyone. For more details on how data is handled, please see our Privacy Policy.
