§ 01 Acceptance
By accessing or using atomurus.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
§ 02 Educational purpose
Atomurus is provided as a free educational tool for studying chemistry. The content — including the periodic table, the Visualizador, molecular visualizations and calculators — is intended for learning and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice in chemistry, medicine, industry or laboratory safety.
§ 03 No account required
The Site does not offer user accounts, registration or login. Anyone may access the Site at any time without identifying themselves. No personal information is required to use any feature.
§ 04 Accuracy of information
We make a sincere effort to present chemistry data based on respected, current references (including IUPAC 2024 atomic data and CODATA 2022 constants). However:
- The Site is provided "as is", without any warranty of completeness, accuracy or fitness for any specific purpose.
- Numerical values, physical constants, illustrations and descriptions may contain errors or simplifications appropriate for educational use.
- You should never rely on the Site as the sole source for safety-critical, medical, industrial or laboratory decisions. Always consult primary scientific literature and licensed professionals where appropriate.
§ 05 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atomurus and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages — including loss of data, loss of profits or any damage to persons or property — arising out of or related to your use of the Site or its content.
§ 06 Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the Site to facilitate any unlawful, harmful or dangerous activity (including the synthesis of hazardous substances)
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse engineer or interfere with the operation of the Site
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or replicate substantial portions of the Site's content for commercial redistribution
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Atomurus
§ 07 Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, the design, text, code, graphics, animations and visual identity of Atomurus are the intellectual property of the Atomurus project. Scientific facts (such as atomic data) are not themselves subject to copyright, but the specific way they are presented, organized and styled on the Site is protected.
You may freely use the Site for personal, classroom and educational purposes — including taking screenshots, downloading the periodic table as PNG/PDF for printing, and citing data values. You may not redistribute the Site's code, design assets or substantial reproductions of its visual interface without permission.
§ 08 Third-party content
The Site uses third-party libraries (e.g. Three.js, Chart.js, html2canvas, jsPDF) and embeds third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts). These remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licenses and policies.
§ 09 Advertising
Atomurus is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. We do not endorse, control or guarantee any advertised product or service. Interactions with advertisers are entirely between you and the advertiser. For details on how advertising data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.

We make no guarantee that the Site will be available without interruption or error. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice.
§ 11 Modifications to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
§ 12 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Atomurus is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
